The Star and the Firefly
Once upon a time there was a tiny firefly that lived in the woods. Every night when the sun went down she wondered out of her special place and browsed her surroundings. She founded the world around amazing and breathtaking. She found special joy in admiring a bright star and secretly loved her. Every night the firefly danced her best to try to get the attention of the star. But too bright, too far, too busy, the star ignored the firefly. Finally one night the firefly felt so sad and she cried. Out of nowhere millions of fireflies approached her wondering what was going on. Our little hero was amazed at how bright the place was and how little the star now seemed. Meanwhile the star was pale with envy that night, when she saw something brighter than herself down on earth. What was that? And the star felt finally love in his cold dark heart. But the firefly attention was now with her own kind, and she lived happily ever after. The end.©Gloria

I See You
Like no one else can
With your ups and your downs
With your light and your darkness
With your truth and your lies
I see you as a beautiful soul
In search for identity
Lonely and lost
In the dessert of life...
