Today I stop by this little park in my son old school. Long time ago, in this same place, I asked him and his classmates what did they want to do when they grew older. I cannot remember their answers, but I recall the joy on their faces. The innocence in their eyes. I recall that they believed in themselves and had not doubts about their abilities to reach their dreams. That is the world through the eyes of children.
As we grow older we loose the ability to trust. Our Innocence erodes with time and disappointments. We become sarcastic and hateful. We question our values and even walk away from God. We loose our faith, our trust, and doubt our capacity to reach those dreams we had when we were little.
The thing is, we should never stop dreaming. We should remain learners. We should believe in the impossible to be possible. We should take cover under the protection of our Almighty Father. Our souls should always stay " forever young".© Gloria
