The Winter of the Mind

 We walk now into the cold season

The darker time of the mind

When we fight against all reason

The magic  door to the spring  time

And a frozen icicle over our cheek

That the summer stamped on the heart!

To bring us down into our knees

Begging for roses and for love

Just to seeing it all die in the first snow
