This is the day of Love
when flowers are sent
diamonds are giving
and cards stores
are full with lovers
looking at a last minute
special something
All that is great
and I will get it someday,
but today
I have a date
with the most important
person
in my life:
myself!
I will be caring
cause I deserve it,
I will be loving
cause I have earned it
I will indulge in everything
that makes me happy
and I give permission
to myself to dream,
hope, laugh and be whoever
I want to be.
I will meet myself
tonight, and I will say hello
then we will have a toast
and celebrate our life together.
